Skills

I have over 10 years of desktop support in a split Mac and Windows environment and enjoy working with people. I have taught computers to people ages 6 through 96 and can quickly adapt to each persons unique way of learning. Between working with young children in school, and adults with no knowledge of computers, came a rock solid patience. I’m no Nick Burns; Your Company Computer Guy.

Working for myself as Pasadena Creative I have helped individuals, families, and small businesses find solutions for a variety of obstacles. I have assisted with anything and everything from remote support, Google Apps, wireless printers, to diagnosing and installing new hardware. At Mayfield Junior School, previous to my employment, imaging was done with an external hard drive. One computer at a time. Within two weeks, NetBoot was set up on an XServe and we had new images for each Mac. We could then update an entire computer lab over night. In addition to IT work, I also taught a wide range of classes to both students and teachers. At Apple Computer I worked with regular and business customers to find them solutions to their problems as well as taught one on one and group classes. I was the go to guy. One day could have been helping a deaf man send text messages from his laptop, and the next, a business client sync his Palm Treo. Everyone knew who to ask.
